You will be working for Hays Social Care; a specialist social care recruiter.

Your new role
You will be required to work between the hours of 8am - 10am followed by 2.15pm - 5pm. This role will initially be for Monday, Thursday, Friday but as lockdown restrictions are lifted, it will be 30 hours per week.
You and one other support worker will be escorting a 9-year-old boy with autism and extremely challenging behaviour to and from school so a calm, diffusing demeanour will be required.
You will communicate effectively with transport teams, SEN teams and various members of school staff to ensure that you, your colleague, and the child will be safe.

What you'll need to succeed

At least 6 months experience working with challenging behaviour in children.
A children's DBS
Good time keeping is an absolute necessity.
What you'll get in return
£10 per hour.
