Perl/Catalyst Software Developer

Salt are partnered with a global technology and Internet business who are looking for a remote Perl Software Developer. They are a fully remote Engineering team with Engineer's dotted around the world, but ideally this hire will be in the UK. The business focus' on domain names and registry and they have applications that have been written in Perl, so they need someone who is experienced with Perl and can hit the ground running. There is lots of potential in this role to progress as the business is now part of a larger group.

Key tasks:
Design new features and enhancements
Code unit testing
Troubleshoot and maintain the existing code base
Bug fixing from issues raised by the customer and app support team
