Placements Officer, Southwark, South East London

We are currently recruiting for a Placements Officer in Southwark, South East London. This is in contract until June 2021.

The vacancy is to work Full Time (36 hours a week) and to start ASAP!

About the team:
*The Placements Team sits within the Access to Resources Team (ART).
*It sources and matches suitable placements for all children and young people in Southwark who need: Foster Care, Residential Care or Semi-Independent provision.
*It liaises with social work teams to ensure sufficient quality of placement referrals and also negotiates and brokers the fees for each placement.
*The staffing structure consists of: a mix of five QSW/Unqualified Placement Officers (Brokers), one Senior Placements Officer and a Placements Team Manager.
